Dainty, perfect paws moved delicately between the yellow grass. Stirring up very little dust in the dry area the female looked around with wonder. As an innocent child with no worries in the world she was happy simply wandering around and oblivious to the matters of the world. Her lilac fur danced as the breeze tugged at it and the savannah’s hot air did nothing to annoy her. Every so often she would leap into the air, hover for a few moment while her wings buzzed and then land gently. Almost the way a little insect would walk for a bit before jumping into the air, buzzing a bit and then landing. Her antennae danced as they felt the vibrations in the air, exciting her.
Vita was innocent as she was young, intelligent yes and with great ability yes, but she was innocent and easily manipulated. It would not take much for one to turn her into a monster. But for now the fairy-like wolf simply danced around the world, watching and playing with all she met.

The life of a wandering scholar suited Zara perfectly. The female intelligent gorilla knew how to make a bed to rest on out of almost anything. She wasn't picky about food and drink. She even made her own clothes that she was currently wearing. Her outfit was a loosely-fitting tunic and wide-leg breeches in a patchwork of neutral earth tones. The fabric, too, was hand-spun.
Zara was foraging in the Savannah for a light snack. After a while, she'd found a succulent plant. She pulled it from the soil with its roots still intact with one hand. With her other hand, she grasped a quantity of the golden grass. She removed the plant's roots and laid them neatly on the grass to dry. They'd be a fine light supper later. Zara would carry them on the golden blades of long grass for easier transport.
As Zara consumed the succulent plant, she saw something (Vita). Her nose told her it was a female wolf. She watched the wolf's aerial dance. While she was transfixed by the she-wolf's grace, she entered a momentary trance.
Zara saw an image of the ghost-like buck in a place full of snow. Words came next. A warning...and a threat. The buck was telling her to deliver a message about "Courts". There was also the implied punishment should she fail to do as she was commanded.
"Um...excuse me, miss, may I have a moment of your time?", Zara asked politely. She kept her voice low enough not to attempt to startle the she-wolf, but also tried to make her words carry toward the gracefully dancing female wolf. She hoped the lupine might reply, if she heard what Zara said.

Elegantly and delicately Vita stopped mid-air. Her wings buzzing as she slowly floated down to the ground in front of the strange creature. She smiled an innocent smile, perhaps she was too trusting and this would be the end of her, yet here she stood smiling daintily at the gorilla. Her ears flicked in curiosity and her head cocked to the side. Pup-like body language conveyed her interest in the creature that seemed to have two pelts. A dark almost-black like colour was covered with neutral tones. It was curious and inspiring. Her grin momentarily faded as she studied the creature, a look of wonder taking its place and suddenly, as if it had never left the smile once again illuminated her being. ”Hello!” she started eagerly, ”I’m Vita Loralis, I’m a wolf. Who are you? You are definitely a unique and interesting creature. I have never seen anything like you before!” Zara,

"Hail and well-met, Lady Vita. My name is Zara. I am a female black gorilla. I am a scholar with a tremendous love of learning. If I may, I wish to share a lesson I recently learned from a mighty Forest Spirit who looks like a giant buck: 'Go tell the world that the spirit of the forest comes! That the courts must be restored!' With all due respect, my lady, would you please share that lesson with others in this land?" Zara then went down on one knee, clutching her banyan tree branch. She bowed her head and waited for Vita's acknowledgement of the message. Would the she-wolf understand the implication of the message or not? Vita Loralis,

Her eyes twinkled as the gorilla introduced herself, her grin beaming down on the creature. She listened avidly to the words the gorilla shared with her yet she was still somewhat confused by them. Who on earth was the spirit of the forest? What were the courts? Perhaps this creature was out of her mind and simply needed to be entertained? Her grin faded and was replaced with a suspicious yet curious look. Her head cocking to the side once more, ”What are these things you speak of? I have no knowledge of them. I am not as learned as you it seems” she said tentatively. Vita Loralis,
